:eek:I cracked my header pipe for my SS exhaust on my MT.I had some copper pipe fittings and decided to make a header pipe.The fittings are 7/8" and what is nice is that they fit into each other so there is no need for pipe to join them.For the build I used [1] 45,[2] 90s and [1] 7/8 x 3/4 reducer.I was lucky;);,the original aluminum header pipe is 7/8 O.D and 3/4 I.D so perfect fit:D.

Thanks Cordy, Yes,all you need is a propane torch,flux and some solder.
 
Hi Z i think it will go out because the solder will be fluid between 90 and 110 °C ,so look up .

Alex,Hopefully not,The solder I used has a melt temperature of 221°C[430°F].
