hi all got sick of using the hose pipe after taking the cars out so i got to work on the wash basin. made a reversed wooden mould and took the glass product off it, finished in anti-tack white gelcoat so nothing sticks to it and the raised center has none slip matt, added 2 drain plugs. I added a 20L tank under the basin (with water and a degreasent mix) and a 12v washer bottle pump that gives a nice precise jet for cleaning. really keep them clean.

heres some pics see wot you think.....

hi sickboy ive done a quick diagram with measurements hope it helps.
i used 4 layers of 450oz mat which gives a thickness of about 7mm

i did think about tryin them on ebay but i would have to make a master mould off mine and the time and cost i decided against it so i plumed mine in. regards brian....

hi selwa, i only use a very small amount of water based degreaser about 100ml in 20L of water and even that activates with oil and grime, i don't think it would have the same effect filtered and used again

That's a good idea again!! Better than using a parts washer tank, your way won't stink up the house with chemicals!!
