The other day while i was replacing the broken rear diff cup, my missus noticed how dirty my shocks were. I told her that you can get covers for them & i haven't found any i like here in Aus.

This is what her awesome mum came up with.

Umbrella material. works great & you could have any colour u desire.

Fitting: either cover the spring only & tuck the sock inside spring, ( as i have done )

or you could cover the whole shock & use cable ties to hold the sock.

hmmm I'm a newbe but I did try useing rubber balloons but they rip way to easy. I'm going to try bike tubes next and see how.

Stitched up a few nice sets myself. Used strong nylon fine mesh material. Work awesomely. Also made the air filter outerwears, that was my daughters job, she's great with the over locker....... :)

I've used rubber balloons on 1/8 scales, they were easy and durable... However they ended up melting and making a mess of the shocks:( like rubber worms in my tackle box.
