Well i got the Baja ss pipe love the performance but hate the horribale sound it makes just loud and annoying, Ive seen on some web sites where u can buy a Silencer for like 35 buck, So i went to ace hardware and got 1 foot of heater hose, a lawn mower muffler and a reducer i spend $7.82 and it sounds awsome and quite and i did not lose any power as i can tell, but i still have to cut and mount it, just threw it on there for a test but u get the idea,
 
RC FACT: silencers are illegal. running a 5th scale with a silencer is a serous safety hazard. if you run that silencer it will possibly explode. please follow all rules and regulations.. say no to silencers.. :D loud pipes save lives..
 
If they where illagal than why would jet pro sell then with there pipes and u can buy them a daves discount motors, and some places we run you have to silences them or the cops will kick us out with in 10 min
 
ya i know legan. i was just brake'in your horns. i like them loud, thats all. but alot of places will discourage you from running if its too loud. ive been kicked out before.
 
Is there a law about running these things in a residental area, the cops where i live arnt too bad just make threats, but ive seen where is getting to be worse, are favorate spot we ran at, now has a security officer there just to keep us out, but the funny thing is we are all over 24 and the little kids that steal there stuff are stilll riding there bike back there kinnda suck
 
yes there are laws lagan.. RC cars are considered to be educational. that meens if you wana go to the park and learn something the cops cant say anything. thats like saying you cant read a book in the park. or you can say that RC'ing is your religion, and depending on where you live they may let you practice your religian at the park, no matter how loud it is. or they may shoot you. not sure where you live.. stand up for your rights as a citizan.. hold your rc high and protest in the streets or something..
 
wow. move to the sticks, my neighbor has a drag car he tests in the road in front of my house, if i put a sileccer on my reccat i would get beat up.
 
I live in a three story appartment building and sometimes test run the truck in the back garden..


..you can hear the neighbours wondering how it comes they hear the lawnmower...but the grass doesn't get any shorter. At least not evenly


hahaha.
