SO I have a ROvan Buggy and added a killswitch on Ch 3 ( 3 Ch. receiver ) I got some led lights to night run just for fun and tried to hook them up , I got a cable splitter so I could split the kill switch control BUT when I hook it up the kill sw. stops killing/working ? , SO I tried to split the power into the receiver and the light never come on ?
Any ideas on how to hook this up ?

?You flip the connection at the plug where you split the power to the receiver? Maybe plugged in backwards?
Naw one way plug , they are keyed
4 channel receiver?
That was my thought , these are just for fun , if it is cheap I might go 4 chan. but my Trans is 3 chan so ?? , I just need to split power at the battery switch.

Futaba plug and receiver? Doesn't mean they didnt pin them wrong? You should be able to hook it straight to the battery and they should turn on. If not, then either bad led(or wired incorrectly) or wrong voltage.
everything pinned OK , I am familiar with servos from a custom Microphone positioning system I designed a few years ago that used servos, I am gonna try direct to the battery switch out that should work no problem , I wanted to avoid cutting and rewireing crap . I actually split the power to the servo but they did not come on ?? I must not understand the schematic ??

Im gunna go out on a limb here and say that splitter is gunna be an issue...probably can only split like components...probably lights are robbing the power to the killswitch.... on my five t it has lights designated on 1 channel and kill switch is on its own channel.

On my truck and baja I had the lights on a Y splitter after the ON/OFF switch and before going into the receiver, so they where only powered when the truck was on.
I now have a control module that goes inline with throttle servo which gives front spot lights, rear tail lights and then rear brake lights too on my truck.

I need to try it on a servo like the throttle , they should have power all the time right ??
