I recently bought a 6v 3000mah NiMH battery pack for my TT so I could go longer between charges. Well I plugged it in to my car today and soon I smelled something burning. It was the wiring to my throttle servo. So I said screw it! I am looking at buying an Airtronics mx3 2.4 TX and RX, a Hitec HS 5745 servo for steering, and an HS 5625 for throttle. Also getting a peak charger and the killer Bee V1 for a fail safe. Just a lil over $300. This system should be pretty solid..... Right?
 
Get the Hitec 5755 instead of the 5745. Its just a few dollars more and a lot stronger of a servo

My LHS they were the same price! I think they are phasing out the 5745's...
