hi,does anyone know if the crank case has to be split to take off the quick release system for the engine.

if you have the engine out of the car, then you need two remove you clutch.
then you need two remove the 4 bolts of you quick release ring,then is it of you engine.

hi i tried to unscrew one of the nuts but is cracked some of the bolt off, you do mean the 4 nuts ? it seems as though its kept on with 4 long grub screws ,so i guess it doesn't matter that i broke a little off the top of the grub screws
