I bought a set of rear Hostile Zero Gravity foam inserts and upon putting the foams on the rims (rear) the foams extend outward about a 1/4" beyond the rim. Am I suppose to cut this 1/4 off?

I have positioned the foams correctly its just that the foam insert is wider then the rim by about a quarter inch.

Thanks

what rear wheels are you running????? If you are using a losi rear they are smaller then a proline spilt six rear wheel I use the hostile zero growth on my Losi with the split six wheels all rear with extenders.

Should not hurt that foams are wider than rims I would not cut excess off

I am using HPI proline split six wheels for HPI Baja 5SC for information.

Is it suppose to have a 1/4" overhang on these rims?

I have never put them on the wheels itself I always insert in the tire it should fill the tire at the top but do not cut off anything.
