Hot Exoust melted body

I have a Med X-Port and X-Can with short Stingers


after about 10min. of run time i had some Body Meltage


any ideas or do i get a different pipe

You could use some heat shield tape, or maybe even some exhaust wrap.

Deja vu! My fix when I ran the Xcan i used short stingers but get the 90 degree elbows and aim the exaust straight up into the air instead of under the body. I had slammed my body already so no additional trimming was needed.


To slam your body you lower it as much as possible which requires cutting a small area behind the window so the cage is coming through the bed and window.

I love my redcat but the bodies are something else. I washed a body to paint and leaned against the wall. the heat from the house furnace register close by warped it and I had to pull out my heat gun to do some creative reworking. duct tape gets dried out from heat. exhaust shield would be better.
