thats the pipe for the 5T as its pretty much fully under the T body. not sure it will do too well on a B/SS

I forgot to mention that Im getting this for my 5t so 5bss would be not considered..

anyways, what do you guys think? yea or nay? If not then what do you recommend?

ya man, its a good pipe depending on what you are looking for as far as power.. do you want a low end pipe or a top end pipe. jp power band is kinda late on that pipe but it screams on the top end something scary.. if you want more of a low end to mid range pipe go for the dom..

I putting on Cy 28.5 and this pipe.. i heard that 28.5 motor has whole bunch of low end.. but they are just salesman so who knows...

28.5 isnt worth it? Should I just keep my fuelie 26 and get a nice pipe for it? where is TGN pipe? I cant seem to find it..

In my opinion, no the Gp290 isn't all that great. My stock 26 Zenoah was a better motor... If it were me, I would keep it stock for now, if it doesn't have the power you need, then upgrade it... Be sure to put a pipe on it, before you start changing motors. You will get more power from a pipe than you will from a motor change...
TGN Race pipe:

I personally think this pipe looks ridiculous, but you asked where to find it... I think the best looking pipe is the HPI SS pipe, but I have no idea of it's performance...

Trip..

Well, for me, im kinda of a type that where I have to get new stuff when the thing is new, kinda like not wearing new suit w old pair of shoes. I was kinda leaning towards the Zenoah, but guys at LCRC told me not to get it. hmmm.. dilama.

btw, so which pipe??? DDM or the JP i mentioned.. thanks..

I think im going with the previously mentioned JP pipe. TGN might work well but kind look weird..

you won't even see the tgn pipe once you put the body on.
if you are looking for a new motor than i suggest the zen G270 four bolt.
great running engine.
i have one and like it a lot.
veru reliable.
get it with the 668 carb instead of the 813 carb.

I already bought the zen 270 but I didnt get it with that carb. Is that the CY carb.? Do I already have it in my fuelie 26 motor?

the 280 motor WOULD of came with an 813. the carbs (pretty much any we will use on these motors) are Walbro Carbs, and both CY and Zenoah use them exclusively on thier motors. i just found out walbros has a plant a 40 miles from me.

the stock Baja carbs are WT-668 walbros. so yes the carb you have on your stock hpi motor should be this carb. the linkage side has a model number stamped into it.

it should read WT-668a or b ect but WT-668 is the one you want to use in my opinion.
