How can i test the coil

I ran it through some water today and jt was still running fine. I shut it pff and now i cant get it to start to savw my life.

What's the plug look like? Try new one. No start after new plug, any parts store has a spark tester. Plug tester into coil wire ground the other end to the engine block and pull away. Spark should be present in the site glass. Almost sounds like the tank needs vented also. Lots of problems trying to restart after shutting off. The fuel gets locked in the tank. Next time crack the cap for a second and try to start. Then address the venting when you can.
