well, over past week ive bought a few bits from hobbythek including this:

http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/products/fg_8485_05-8485-05-alloy-differential-adjustable-1pce-.html

the problem is the diff came in bits & i needed to build it! with no instructions except for these:

http://homepage.rc-car-online.de/content/explosionszeichnungen/teile/diff/sperrdiff.pdf (opens in PDF)

it was confusing to say the least, don't get me wrong ive had diffs open before for maintenance but ive never built one & with different types of washers/bearings/plates etc i had no idea & the last thing i wanted was to do it wrong. So i contacted hobbythek explained i wasnt very happy as the website did not state that it came un-built etc, so they replied & asked me to send it back to them & they will build it free of charge for me, they didnt argue it or question it they just said to send it back to them :)

I did say in my original mail to them that i would be willing to pay extra to have it built or pay the extra for a pre-built one! so props to them, as they could have easily said an extra £20 or so quid to have it built, excellent customer service imo.. ive dealt with hobbythek alot over the last couple of years & this is the reason why, great customer service as it should be, along with good prices, some of these UK dealers should take a leaf from hobbytheks customer service book! :)

:)
