How do i install my new 7500rpm clutch spring


any instructions please help


what do i need to remove
 
easy way to do this, take spark plug out, install piston stop tool. 2 then remove two bolts from clutch. 3 with clutch shoes in hand twist them opposite directions then you should be able to unhook the spring, then just reverse process, but you may have to use a small screwdriver to line shoes back up with each other, after your first one it gets easy,lol....you can start doin it by hand and don't need the screwdriver.
 
Hey Slasher once you install the piston stop before you loosen the clutch bolts, slowly and gently turn the clutch counter clockwise, until you feel the piston gently touch the piston stop, that way you don't end up slapping the piston into the stopper while trying to unbolt the clutch, which could end up damaging the piston. Do this in reverse order before you go to tighten the clutch bolts back down, rotating the clutch clockwise till it gently touches the stopper. Just a tip hope it helps..... :)
 
Seemed easier to me to leave it in to me as well, I just made sure to brace the bottom of the clutch housing against the chassis with a piece of wood when removing and re-torquing the shoe bolts.
