Hi guys,

I'm assuming that there's a few guys out there that have some hours on their XSC by now. How are the tires holding up? Did the foams disintegrate like the XT tires? Or did they learn their lesson and upgrade the foam material?

I'm still exploring options for my friend's XT. These tires would bolt right on, so it might be a good option for him if they are durable.

Thanks!

If the tires are good just build new inserts for them. You'll get a lot of life out of the tires.

Picked up a yoga mat that we're gonna try to stuff the tires with. There's a hole in the sidewall of one of them tho, have to glue or patch it. If the tires don't turn out well, this could be a good alternative.

the XSC rim will fit but the rim has a different diameter rim size on the inside than it has on the out side. I think this Idea was to give the tire a more truckish look while retaining a somewhat buggy feel to the handling ,I think it may cause a problem with the already overburdened bearings though . On this setup every time you hit a bump the rim will twist to the side rather than take the bump straight on .as for how long they last ??a lot longer than the bearings.

That's some good feedback, thanks for that RAMJET! He's also considering the XB tires. It's been cold here so that's why it's taking us so long to get these tires together... my garage is not heated. Yet.

Sry to butt in, I just got my xt broken in and first bashing run I cut a tire down, I found the sidewalls seem really thin. Where can u get adapters, and are the imex wheelsand tires up to the harsh abuse?
