How long do you store your gas?

Just wondering how long you guys store your gas before throwing away?

I only mix a gallon at a time. If I have extra going into winter I dispose of it,and start with fresh in the spring.

If the gas is going to sit in the container for more than 3 months, I usually throw in some Stabil. I've used gas in my lawn equipment that was more than 12 months old but had Stabil in it with no problems.

I wouldn't recommend using old gas even if it has an additive in high-performance engines like our HYs though.
