How Man Sets Do I Need?

Im currently in the process of upgrading my MT servos to HS-5805MG. Now im wondering the futaba mount kit http://www.davesmotors.com/redcat-050010b-aluminum-futaba-servo-mount-blue.html do i need to purchase two sets of these or one does both sides of the MT?


Also would using the stock Redcat radio and reciever cause any problems with the new servos im installing?

That is for the right side only. If you plan on running duals you will have to mod the other side.

I do plan on running dual. So wat do u mean when u say mod? Got any pictures?

If you are gonna run a 5805 why would you run duals, that is way over kill! I run a single 5805 and turns on a dime!

I prefer having dual. Less strain on servo and it will last longer. So anyone has pics of there mod?

The strain would be about the same, maybe a little more. No two servos are exactly the same, centering could be off slightly on one of them and they'll fight each other. Plus, one of them could die and kill the other one from the increased load. Add to that the increased load on the receiver pack. Dual servo setups make two crappy servos act like a decent single servo, but that's really the only benefit. Otherwise, it's better to get one really good, over spec servo.

+1 on the 5805. Bolts right in when used with the aluminium mount
