ok ill see if i can remember all my cars in this last year.

3 fg marders. 2 standard 1 tuned engine and samba pipe.
1 fg porsche.
2 fg monster trucks.
2 fg leopards 1 standard and 1 full alloy.
4 hpi baja 2 5b's 1 5b ss brand new. 1 tuned bought from andy at west coast raceway.
fg bmw petronas full alloy and carbon fibre formula 1 race car.
1 lauterbacher l3 supercross.
1 elcon cleon.

thats all i can remember lol.
a total of nearlly 6 grand :lol::cup-1:
 
i spend a lot on motors think i,am just unlucky they allways seem to go pop. so my baja has been a test bed for 2, cy 26,s a dzy 23 and a zenoah g230 all in 12 months now running a 30.5 with a stuffed crank hope it lasts.

wow, so each time you haven't upgraded,just replaced a broken engine, what are you douing wrong lol?, ive never killed an engine yet!
 
im just waiting for someone to come on and say theve had 100 large scales in the last year and spent 100 grand lol!!!, 25 marders, 15 bajas, 38 monster trucks, 22 mcds,

the dzy 23 was first to bite the dust the air filter broke off after a crash with another buggy. not knowing i carried on running it it sucked in sand and died, then my c,y 26 ran for 2 tanks and the plating on the bore came off, that got replaced with another c,y 26 that lasted 4tanks and the same thing happend with the plating. so i gave up on c,ys and built a zenoah g230 that ran great untill the piston ring locaiting pin fell out and wrecked the motor, so now i,am running c,y crank cases with a 30.5 kit and a 2mm stroker stuffed crank, i,ve only had 1 tank thru it, it could all go wrong again but i hope not lol:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

paid £410 fg marder beetle zen 26,mesh filter with team gonads x can,spare fg pipe, beetle shell,marder shell, loads of roll cage parts, spare front end complete with alloy parts, and some a arms spare shocks etc. paid £310 for mt (woody) with fg tuned pipe(max gain?)chokeless carb, monster wheels, adjustable shocks, 3 shells(battered)and enough spares to build another 2 apart from chassis, including rtr 23cc zen, 3 std pipes, 2 filters, and loads of diffrent size ally/steel/plastic gears, 2 complete ready to fit diffs, loads of steel diff gears, literrally loads,
things iv bought. spektrum dx3c= 65.00(new.ebay) cable brakes £41 about £45 on various wheels/tyres (5 and half sets between both cars) new throttle servo£25 and i think thats about it.

i have had what ive said ive had.
but i bought them run them once or twice and moved on.
all ive got left is a full alloy fg leopard and my elcon cleon.
but may get an mcd just to see what the 4 wheel drive cars are like.:lol:

The CY 26 where they by chance the ones with a separate head and cylinder? They are know for problems. So far I have not had a problem with any of my 4 engines all being 2 bolt. Right now I am running a 30.5 that I built with a OBR race ported kit. Just picked up a set of new 4 bolt CY cases for $28 I am hoping to put a OBR Pro Stock 30.2 kit in or if I can afford it build a cylinder read 29.5.

what do think of those crosover bones. i have been running the d.s. gen 3 and think they are the poo. 6 gallons and very little wear
