4 fluid ounces should be enough for any redcat shock-s.- 4 of them.

Any idea which weight to start out with? I have some AE 32.5 that I use on my other cars. Maybe I just get a few more bottles of that so I don't have to juggle so many different shock oils.

Is the HPI oil silicone? The silicone oils i have used so far are not as stable as i would like to see- the viscosity changes with the temp. Some brands more than others.

On a 2nd look, rc gasser answered the question.- The oils used in motorcycle suspensions- Race Tec- Spectro- ect, They have so high a viscosity index - it could be below freezing- or 100 degrees and there is zero change in viscosity- these oils are not silicone.
