how on earth do i fit front cable brakes, fg touring car. do they bolt to front hubs?

heey everyone i've just got my fg front cable brakes in the post, but i haven't a club how to mount them to the wheel hubs! do you simply attach the brake calipers losely to the disk, or does the caliiper and its housing actually screw onto the wheel hubs? if i do the brake pads to tight on the disk they don't move and if i do them to lose, they just fall straight off the disks. aah any help would be ace thanks

oh yaa i did come across that thread also which did help alot i was just wondering if the brake calipers screw to the hubs, im not sure if i missed that info in that thread eek ill go read again incase
