How to determine the screws you have

how do i know which screw i have so that i can buy the right one is there a way to measure?

Best is to get 5 nuts that you know the size and color code them. Then just test the screw into the nut and you will know for sure.

Or go to a good hardware store and they have screw checkers:

It's a little more but I get these so I always have the screws. The stainless don't strip out as easy.
