How to fix threads in front hubs permanently. Could this be a sticky?

Bits you need: Power drill 6mm drill bit (optional) 7mm drill bit 5mm Allen key m5 threaded inserts. I use these Threaded inserts Your hub, obviously Tools to take your hub apart. The first time I did this was with Marder hubs -there seems to be a bit more meat on them than the mutilator hub shown here - so you might need to grind a milli off the bottom of the insert to clear the metal inner ring. Anyway, it makes it easier if you drill 6mm first, so, strip your hub: Posted Image And take out that metal ring. Drill 6, then 7 mm - the drill should follow the existing hole. Posted Image Et voila Posted Image Then, get insert and allen key and drive it in - it can be a bit tricky to get started. Posted Image Finished. You can see here theres a very slight maybe 0.5mm protusion out of the top, and it is squashing the inner metal ring a bit - Edit: Just checked out my marder hubs - if you do top and bottom at the same time it squashes that ring a little both sides and evens it up - so no probs.

Its a copy of somebody else's thread on MSUK & I reckon its our friend Assad. He is just about to sell his FG MT so beware on ebay!!!!!

Dwarfy- i think your mistaken pal, the thread originally is mine i lent it to mark over at MSUK seen as he needed help on installing the inserts i send him. Ive heard off Assad on MSUK and please don't compare myself to such utter disgrace- i spend most off my time helping people out in this hobby with feedback for prove so keep your harsh opinions to yourself in the future. I don't see why me selling my FG has any concern with you :(
 
you say you aint assad but you reply to threads in the same manner and youve worded your post the same as he would have not trying to point the finger mate but you must be able to see where dwarfys coming from i do
 
totally understand where his coming from but youve got to take into consideration going around accusing people isnt going to help - if there is doubts just report me to a mod not really bothered. my grammer is pretty much similar to everyone else on this forum, averange. -no offence but this isnt a english lesson i don't see myself spending hours correcting my spelling mistakes- well that was before i found out where the enter button was but never the less its a shame really as i don't spend much time on this forum, so not to worry.

No Offence mate, but you have got to take into consideration, that a lot of people have been scammed by the skanky little tramp, so i'm sure you can accept that people are on edge & looking out for him. nothing is meant by it. People are now unfortunately skeptical of new members. So get down of you're high horse :cup-1:
 
Im assad ban me if you wish, but clearly im not a scammer my feedback on MSUK speaks for itself ive sold 3-4 on there and every memeber was happy.

Look Assad i could not care less if you have or haven't scammed i really couldnt give a flying pig for what you have or have'nt done, end of the day, you have been banned from muliple forums, just give up find somwhere else mate, when a forum bans you its at the owners discretion, be a man & move on bud or make your own forum like i have done.

respect the owners decision & don't re-register they don't want you here or on msuk.
