how to get more torque?

You can do a engine up grade, but gearing works. You need a lower final ratio. If you are running a MT some smaller lighter wheels/tires works wonders. A 7500 or 8000 rpm clutch spring is great for launching that beast off the line. 2stroks need the rpm to develope power. A mid-bleed tuned pipe helps develope the low end torque.

Ok. I am wanting the 7500 spring and also going to get wheels from the king motors t2000. Smaller diameter and width. I want to order the jet pro pipe too. Is 7500 enough for spring? And pipe is mid bleed as far as I remember. Oh what is the final gear stock and what do you recommend?

Most guys gear back up with the smaller & lighter wheel, tire combo. 29,31 gears like what the buggies have. You can also do a 27,33 for more low end and acceleration. Those are hard to find but I am working on that ratio for the belt drive.

You can use MCD gears, assuming you have the square drive system. They have 27/33 gears, that's what I use. They're plastic, but they're durable. If you want torque, go with the DDM Dom.
