When my Baja was new I tore it down after a few runs and found that the bulkhead/shock support nub had broken off. I replaced the part only to find that a few runs later it had done the same thing. I figured there was no way I would buy a new one again and needed to find out a way of supporting it without replacement. I ended up doing the following.
Buy a couple countersink machine screws a bit bigger then the original bolt/screw. Really does not make much a difference as long as its close to the origional size.

Drill out the hole just a bit smaller then the bolt you choose. Screw the bolt straight through the plastic and both pieces.

If you want you can even add a nylon bolt on the back side to keep it from backing. I have yet had mine back out without them.

Funny, I had to do this on my rears too.
