How to take the differential apart on a FG MT?

How do I take the differential apart the easiest way? Do I have to take the engine off the car or can it be fixed without this?

I would really appreciate a step by step explanation

I can't give you a step by step procedure. But I have never been into a 1/5 scale b4 and last night I started on my own. I started with the shocks then took the bolts out of the uprights let them lay down to access the drive shafts, I had to remove my carb to access thing but i'm sure you can get into there if your careful. just remove the diff protector on the bottom to access the 4 countersunk screws. Also took off the sway bar. Hope this helps.

It is much easer if you remove the engine. But not a must.

i have not done a 1.5 yet but it looks like if u take the motor lke shiny said i have done my lst on that its easier to take the suspension set off

in the fourm section typ in "diff" in the search area and theres tutorial with pictures how to disasemble a fg mt and put back to gether, i used it a few times
