If you are having problems with your brushless set up you might want to test your motor. A brushless motor will act like a generator if it's spun from a outside source.
So get a volt meter, and a power drill. Or use a drill press. I would recommend having two people for this. Set the drill at the lowest setting to start. Connect the volt meter to any two wires from your motor. Then spin the motor using the drill. Record the volts and then test the next wire and so on. If your getting the same voltage on all the wires your good. Do not to this if your motor is not spinning freely- if you got a bad bearing or locked shaft please don't do this. Be careful when your doing this, you could rip out wires out your motor and hurt yourself aswell. So spin the motor by hand first and use the slowest speed setting you have. It should get a reading even spinning very slow. That's it, maybe change to mV to get a larger easier to record number.
