I'd agree with that number if it has a good pipe. I would guess under 3 with stock exhaust. Some of the ported motors are only rated at 3.5 hp.Nobody knows for sure, but I'd say between 3 and 4 HP.
3.5 hp out of a race tuned 30.5 obr? sounds like a pretty weak port job if thats all its running...i have yet to be able to dyno my stock motor yet but ive had 26's b4 that were all runnin at least 3hpDustyR3825 said:I had a race ported 30.5 OBR 2 bolt and Sean said the produced around 3.5HP "give or take a 1/4 horse depending on how tuned, pipe, ect"Bone stock I woukd guess 2.5HP But I have no clue....
I would assume that the CY and HY would be a little weaker then a equal size Zen.3.5 hp out of a race tuned 30.5 obr? sounds like a pretty weak port job if thats all its running...i have yet to be able to dyno my stock motor yet but ive had 26's b4 that were all runnin at least 3hp
And that's for a Zen. I believe the CY & HY would be a little lower. On Zenoah web site they list the power out put in Kilowatts. If you convert it comes out to 2.44 HP on the the G260RC 26cc.
That engine is all most 2.7HP. The Zen 26 is 1.82 kilowatts. 1 kilowatts is 1.3410 HP. More then likely the manufacturers are estimating the HP by mathematics.RCDAD said:Even this is under 2.5 hp. So maybe the HY numbers are not that far off at only 12000 rpm. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=zenoah%20g290rc%20manual%20kw&source=web&cd=1&sqi=2&ved=0CDYQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.zenoah.net%2Fnode4103.aspx%3Fpid%3D353071&ei=QHTSTu-LMcariAKa2-HBAQ&usg=AFQjCNFShawS0KqUoZlHd23R7kNXR8lzTw
