hpi air filter oil

thinking of upgrade the air filter over stock one. do we need to oil the filter before use? how to do it?

Yes oil it!! Just put the inner foam element in a ziploc bag squirt some filter oil all on it and begin squeezing the sponge to get it well saturated.

Thanks for the tips! do I know if it's too much or too low? if too much, just wash it and let it dry and oil it again? correct?

Just squeeze out the excess.Oil shouldn't drip when you squeeze it.

When needed, but wash it before. The k&n spray is good,just coat the whole filter.
