HPI Baja 5t issues

Was wondering if anyone has had any issues with this truck? if so what were they I am thinking of buying a used one any feed back on a used 5t would be appreciated

Get the Turtle racing clutch system.... thats the only real big issus on the 5t because
the bolt keeps on snaping on the clutch bell! ive had mine for years now and the bolt
is still going!

do you have to break it in? is it fast?

nope you don't brake it in and there is no differance in speed... its just a clutch system.

You said used so a lot is going to have to do with how it was taken care of by the former owner.

Number 1 up grade for ANY large scale a remote kill switch! In my opinion is mandatory A 25 to 35 pound RC vehicle during a run away is a BIG liability! Not even counting the damage to your RC vehicle.

Second recommend up grade as CSR260 said a TR clutch system. Turtle makes two styles. Inclosed recommend for off road use and open that I only recommend for on road use.

Then I recommend a TR front upper brace and Scorpion lower chassis brace.
