Phat dad

They are the same price i
Have a way older version of the phat dad dog bones. With no issues.

Thoughts?

I’m building another baja 5t with a stock 32.

I'd go IRC or alx personally. Irc have enclosed pins so no need for set screws etc I believe the alx ones are setup the same way. The irc and alx setups are cheaper than both the uber or phatdad setups also and much stronger

Uber from my experiences in past were all junk, and many others as well. However crucial has had good luck so far with them.

Phatdad are strong but the pins can come out, and the grub screws strip easily because they are so small.

Set of irc ordered. Thank you Detroit performance. And a bunch of other things I wanted. They do look like the best. Thanks!
if you use uber ball drives always fit a set of the reinforcement rings as well (y),
if you don't then the cups can split if using higher power engines,

Seems crazy to spend that much then have to spend more so they don’t brake. Lol.

yeh there were some issues with the uber ball drives clubin,,
the balll drives first came out before big bore and twin engines were really out there,
there was only stock engines and the original rcmax plus the scotty finlay as well,
everyone was using the stock 23 and 26cc and then upto a 30.5cc, then the g320 came out and some breakage /wear issues started with the cups
if you scroll down the link below you will see the ''disclaimer/amendment to ubers lifetime warranty stating the strengthener rings need to fitted for warranty claims when using engines above a stock 26cc (y),

Quite the wty disclaimer.

Sorry boys. The dog bone cross pins.
Pic of irc inner cup notice no openings. I suspect a variant of this is what comes with the Taylor locker and the pics are incorrect.
