hpi baja diff problem

just put my baja b5 on its stand after a day out at deeside then noticed the diff is locked up both wheels turn together in the same direction can some one help

You need to take it out and make sure none of the gears hatched or that the pin retainer screws didn't come loose and lock the gears. There is no easy way around it but to take it apart and check it.

sounds like it could have blown a gear, if its got a plastic inner diff casing make sure it has,nt split this can be a main cause,

took diff out of my baja took it apart nothing wrong no oil in tho only coating on the gears is this right

i don,t use oil for that reason, it can leak out mate i use lithium grease now and never had a problem. if theres any play in the half shafts try to shim them to make sure the planet gears in the diff mesh well.
