Hi I bought a second hand baja a few weeks ago and I have a problem with the top end it runs slow... When I accelerate it makes this high pitched bah bah bah bah sound and when I try to tune it it doesn't do any thing, but when I tune it with the wheels of off the ground I can notice I difference from a rich tune to a lean tune. I also noticed air bubbles in the fuel line I don't know if that has anything to do with it... In summary when the car is under load (on the ground) it makes a high pitch sound and when it isn't under load (rear wheels of the ground) it sounds good. Could it have something to do with the Clutch or the carb?
I've noticed that it runs a bit better when the engine is cooler eg at the start of a run.
Cheers
Help much appreciated :)

First thing you need to do is fix the air in the fuel line. I would run new fuel lines. After you do this I would take some carb cleaner and while it is running spray where carb meets cylinder if there is any change in sound then you have a air leak. Good luck

Oh thanks I'll try that. Have you had this problem as well, is it a comman problem?
Cheers
