Fantastic mate, love it to death....can't wait to see the vid:)

What other body mods are you going to do? and what colour's are you thinking for the body? maybe blue and white?

How about some perspex for the window's and some head light's?:)

hi cheers, yes going for the blue and white paint, having some sandscorcher decals done aswell, also will have h/lights,indys and number plates, as for the body will cut the sills off and rebuild the sides to meet the chassi and a bit of a revamp on the wings, the front tyres are TQ ribs which i bought off a bloke on ebay selling them as hpi ribs, came all bagged up in hpi bag and label, as it happens they fit the bill better tham the hpi rib tread pattern cheers chopper

Roofchopper: I've already commented on this on HBF but I have to comment again. This thing is awesome!

Every time I look at the pics it reminds of the Tamiya Sandscorcher. I'm a huge Tamiya fan. I painted my FG Beetle body for my FHMT with that blue and white scheme in mind. I went with red and blue instead, but I just really dig the look of the original Tamiya scheme.

I can't wait to see the finished product. Very, very nice!

Wicked that's just way out there definitely a baja bug from the 60s so you've let us see it how it is now but is there any chance of it in action

thanks everyone, yes got a few tamiyas s/s and r/rs, will post some more pics soon, nearly went yellow red paint but that can wait, cheers chopper:boat:
