i put hte hpi filter on now my servo arm and linkage rub on the red neck fiter is there a way to change the setup and if so does enyone have a pic of how they have theres set up. Thanks

not to bash an idea but going under the servo arm is better because it keeps the linkages straight. having the linkage pulling on the carb at an angle like that will cause wear in the carb flutter as it is fighting the normal travel direction

I was wondering if you guys oil both stages on the HPI filter? From the vague directions, it seems they only oil the inner "blue" filter.

just the inner
Really? I've always oiled both the inner and outer on all my RC's including my nitros. Is that bad? My pre-filter is oiled so lightly you can barely get any reside on your hands by rubbing it but I still oil it. I started oiling the outer after running at the slate dumps and saw all the dirt and dust that made it through the pre-filter. Now I don't see half as much and I haven't noticed any difference in performance such as restricting air flow to the carb.

oiling the outer cruds up my outerwears, oiling both doesn't hurt any but just the inner will give ample protection if you use something like belray dirtbike foam filter oil....super sticky. Hpi only say to oil the inner but if you're not using ths sticky stuff I'd oil both. If I were to use the redneck instead of outerwears I'd oil the outer too probably. No need to use grease with the sticky stuff i just squirt ample at the end and it seals up like grease.
