Hitec has its own propriotory spline so does Futaba (which has 2 ) The HPI servo is the Futaba big version spline.

You all need to quit looking for car servo arms and go to a large scale airplane websites think Tony's Hobbies out of Florida is one . You will find all kinds of aluminum servo arms in any length you want able to be bought in diffent spline patterns.

I bent my SWB horn all to hell. A buddy of mine running a Baja had so much wobble in his that it finally stripped. They are just too thin in both the arm and the splined area for 5th scale.

Ive been runnin the snot out of mine. Did your mate tighten the flange screw? After a few runs, you should go back and double check that screw and retighten it. Im using two of them on my 5745mgs, with my EPAs setup so the bellcranks don't hit the diff. After about 2 gallons mine show no signs of slop or bending.

Went with the SWB as well, second one I've stripped to the bone! :D

I mod exhaust from time to time on large scale rc airplanes. I have seen a wide variety of nice ones on their planes. I don't know of a exact link at this time , but will call one of my customers with one of these planes and ask him for more info.

The ones I am thinking of look much better quality than SMB
