Well now Deeside has gone and the summer is round the corner I have started to dig out my old electric tourers.
I came across this and am going to put all new brush-less in it.
So far i have ordered a couple of hardcase 5000 Mah LiPo's 45C,Turnigy balance charger and all leads and spares (in case I fry any) 45 Mah brushless ESC with fan(although the fan will be removed and a 12V added as the ESC will only power the fan up to 7.4V then anything over will pop it) and a nice 8.5T brushless motor.
I have just put a new carbon fibre upper and lower chassis on it but all ball joints need to be replaced.I do have all these but don't have the belt tensioner for it,this was lost last year when I done the chassis(and under the influence!) does anyone have one? I have searched but cant get hold of one.
It went great 7-8 years ago but then I got out of elecs and went on to large scale,It should be a little flyer with all the new running gear.It'll give Al a run for his money!;)

Nice car voodoo. I have an old nitro RS4r2 at home that I dumped a bunch into when I raced. I've been wanting to do a brushless drift car for a while now though.
 
i remember those when they were new. i didnt have one, however i did carpet race an hpi pro 3. it was a pretty cool car, i just never was that into electrics. the reason i got into it was to improve my nitro driving skills, and with a one way front diff in the pro 3, i learned a lot in a hurry. at the time my nitro touring car was an hpi rs4 2, i had modded it so much most didnt recognize it. i did a center mounted fuel tank, moved everything around to balance the chassis, made a heck of a good car for the time.
