It looks like it runs the same motor as the Savage and Vorza Flux. Is that going to be a good setup in a rig that size?

Not really I own a flux 5t convo with the stock esc and motor. Runs pretty hot compared to a 5692. Gear down enough and everything is ok though. That system can run hot and be ok for a long time. The car is not as light as you think. It does look like you can add a larger or at least longer motor.
