I have been looking for a backup servo for the steering on the low cost$$ and spoke to a local that flies and he offered up a 755mg for 20 bucks ...Does anybody know if it will be up to the task.

I don't think if would last long. Here are the specs.

Thanks for the chart...I would have to say it would be a waste of cash after looking at the #'s I found one at HK its the HK15338 MG Digital for 15 ..the price has me weary but on the other hand I have never had a bunk product from them.
 
I have one of the Turnigy 1270HV. It's kind of noisy like the stock units. Not a lot of run time on it yet so I can't really say how durable it is. I run it on a 2s lipo.
