Good choice you can't go wrong with those great products!

So, it looks like I have a 50059 or a 07370 rear carrier on my xb?

Does that sound right? Is there a difference [bearing size?]

There is a difference in bearings. You can't use the 50059 unless you convert the rest of the suspension and the dogbones/CVDS.

So then I have 07370?

My rear look more like 50059 style, than the one it shows for the stock xb...?

I didn't buy it new, I do know it has the same bearings front an rear.

Not sure how old it is, it has 6mm nuts on the axle.

I just got the 24mm adapter and new wheels.

With the new tires [and new bearings] the hub shows some slop/play.

I think a failing bearing messed up the carrier.

Yep. You have the stock carriers. If you had the MT carriers, you wouldn't have the 6mm axles. You wouldn't be having bearing issues, either. Get the 07370's, or upgrade to the 7075RC carriers.
