hi can some one give me some info . on a hurrax crypton ...ive got numerous cars ,like 1/8ths , 1/10th's , 1/12th's and a baja 5t ...and i race them too ..

ive got a mcd racerunner evo3 comp , and am fed up of things randomly braking ... today it was a front drive shaft snapping in 2 , after a slight tap with a baja 5b ..
 
It's a funky looking buggy but I've heard horror stories of people waiting ages for spare parts to appear when something has broken, and it's not as good/reliable as expected so I would approach with caution. Maybe an Elcon Cleon is a better choice, or an FG comp model perhaps?
 
There is little or no support for the Crypton in the UK - the early ones were poorly built and suffered from endless design problems (mainly the steering). These were addressed but unfortunately for Hurrax the UK owners/dealers had long since given up on them.

Hurrax have designed a race legal version (shorter wheelbase plus alloy upgrades) but it has yet to be made available.

The FG Sportsline 4WD Baja looks promising although Ripmax (the FG importer/distributor) don't appear to have received their allocation yet!!!!

With regards to your Evo 3, King Cobra Racing should replace the broken driveshaft without charge.
