Check through the threads on the subject here.
BE VERY CAREFUL if buying from Ebay - they may not fit your truck/car as they're made for a previous hub / upright no longer made - this happened to me.

I have seen the layshaft brakes but they where from Germany, where did you buy yours from.

i got mine from thepitstopshop.nl there a1 in service and quality i like the setup because theres only one disc and brake it sits in the car out of harms way and works very well i only use the front cable brakes for balance

have checked these out n it looks like i am going with these, many thanks.:)

good choice mate these work very well and as i said above the fit is a1 quality is second to none and the price aint as bad as some of the other setups out there these and a set of fg cable brakes up front can be brought for the same price as some hydos out there

Rear brakes are wasted on an off road car, a good layshaft brake is ample (do the fibre disc upgrade if you want to) fronts are much more important especially for racing. HARM Mecatek single piston brakes are probably the best I've ever used - and Yes I've used all versions of KP and Magura brakes along with the lauterbacher twin pots.
The HARM brakes will need an adapter plate wich is available from www.oddified.com.

Hope this helps.

Mike
