I wish I had the money to get the AMS set up but being I have been out of a steady job for 2 ½ years I do not see this happening. Has any one here ran or know anything about the inexpensive hydraulic front brake set ups on eBay? Not sure if I am allowed to post a link here or I would. They are made by KM.

One off the US sellers is claiming they make theirs them self but they sure do look just like the KM set up and they do not post a picture of the part of the caliper that has the KM logo. Do most RC hydraulic bakes use a standard brake fluid or is it something special?
Thanks!

i ran these mate, worked lovely on my HPI Baja ss, BUT the did start chewing on my hubs & are a female dog to bleed!

How quickly did they eat in to your front hubs?

The ones in your first link is what they are selling on eBay US and that is the company that claims they make there own. You notice they do not show the side of the caliper that has the logo on it. There is a seller on the US eBay that sells what looks to be the same brakes for about $86US plus shipping but he is in China.

about 2 bashes see the silver bit, it rounded & the disc got jammed, only thing i can think of is the cheap kits arent tight engough on he hubs a they have a lot of play in them.
sorry about pic quality

there all practically the same just different names, most are all clones of the expensive ones!

The systems on RC have single action calipers so the disc has to float since the calipers do not and cannot fit real tight. Not so sure even the high dollar set ups would fit any or much tighter on the hubs. Look at the rear brakes on the 5B. Wondering if you could shim the calipers to put the disc a little farther away from the edge of the hubs?
Thanks for the input as I can use all I can get.
