hi all,

i'am thinking about replacing my cable brakes with mecatech hydro front and rear, can i use one master cylinder or do i have to use two.........

thanks phil

Phil,I read your post wrong. If you are going to use front and rear then one can do it but for better stopping the game is use two. I have seen on one of the forums someone set an FG MT up using one master cylinder but after a look on the web I think it might have been a custom made jobby.
Sorry to misinform you.

Quite right, front and rear it's best to use 1 master cylinder for each end and you'd be better using a third channel for the front brakes.

To be honest though, the layshaft brake gives ample perforance for the rear.
