While running my WR8 Flux, a rock got jammed between my pinion and spur gear!! The one time I didn't run with my homemade shroud (but I had my body on) a stupid little rock breaks my WR8! It got me thinking, maybe making a shroud for my XT since it has a couple semi-exposed gears. I was thinking getting a clear XB body inside my XT body! Kinda like and over tray!I wonder if it'll work as far as fitment with a body within a body? I know it'll give me a little more peace of mind that a rock cant get in the gears, but its just an idea. I was also wondering anybody that has and XB have a any problems with rocks in the chassis??

The XB body is open on the front for the suspension. You still get debris in through there. The front tires kick it up in there.

The XB rear body mounts use the same mounting holes as the xt mounts so now you have 2 body's fighting for the rear mount

You are correct there is a lot less crap that gets in but there is still a lot that gets in from the front and the sides. Most people that do not have the xb think it's sealed at the bottoms but it's not
