Hi everyone..I just got the xt and was wanting to know. If any of the failed parts issues have been addressed or do. I just need to start ordering parts before I open the box ? If I do need them can someone please hook me up with a list and the links to the parts please ? Thanks Bob

Bob,

lots of things have been corrected in the last few years I have been told. I had an XT and it ran fine for about 10 tanks then I sold it because I had 2 other redcat 1/5 gassers. Get the killer bee kill switch and go drive your truck. If something breaks, then upgrade it to something better... but make sure you have that kill switch, some folks have bad luck with the throttle servo and the truck runs away... bad for you, bad for your truck, worse for others around :(

daves motors (www.davesmotors.com) normally has them in stock... about 60 bucks. They are the most useful part for the truck because you can use your remote to turn it off without having to reach under the body for the red button. A 3 channel remote will help too because then you will have a button to turn it off instead of having to turn the remote off.

My xt is home wateing on me and I won't be there untill Sunday evening..sometimes driving a truck six..LOL..I'm my much of a car/ truck person I have always flew rc planes but I need something to do while I am watering to load or unload..so I got a xrc 1/5 scale 23 cc car which bored me quick..can only run it on blacktop..so I thought I would give this a shot..

the 7075rc banner is on the left hand side of the screen... he does some really nice work making upgraded parts for the X series vehicles. I have seen one of his gear plates, very good work! :D

Are the gear plate bearings the same as the wheel bearings ? I asked 7075 but he was not clear on it all he said was its on the web site ..not very helpful they was not. And I can not find any gear plate bearings there at all. And how many do I need ? Thanks
