Guys i have burned the motor today and in 1 minute starting :(

i don't know why , it became so hot and burned

am not sure is it because am using Trx connector from battery to ESC ?

am using bullent 6mm from ESC to motor

or because i updated the ESC with 2 pole option and its 4 pole ?

or because the phase wires inccoret i placed them ?

am using MGM ESC 15S

Thats a bummer, Are you saying on the bottom of your post your running 15s on this motor you burnt out, or is that just the esc you are running 15s would be abit much 8s to 10 max for sure for one of these.

No toyrota , i was using 12s at that time

but the ESC can handle up to 15S

one thing more guys i was not using any fan on motor ? is that the cause ? but burned in 1 minute is that possible ?

i was running it without any body and the weather was cold

12s is still quite allot on a motor that is the listings i have seen on ebay 8s max. How many others on here have done this or are they just going to but you seem to have done it and burnt it out.

I don't think a fan would have helped if it got that hot that quick to burnout.

It may have been either binding in the driveline, voltage too high or it could be the esc setting on 2 poll and its a 4 poll motor as it would have done very strainge and maybe bad things to the timing and the other feed back to the esc trying to control it.

if the timing was set too high and on 2 pole setting, i believe ramps the timing up which causes a huge spike in power that could have fried it.

what were the esc settings?
