I went with the base MT, and as I run the truck, I replace any parts that fail with the upgraded parts that are available, it has provided me with a lower initial cost, and a learning platform that keeps getting better as time goes on. Good luck. I did start with a killswitch (Killer Bee) and a different radio and reciever.
