First, Pardon me for posting this 5 - b on this site. For some digital reason I cannot post photos on the HPI site. O.K. -- this is for sale on the internet-e-bay. The fello says its a real hpi. says it got approx 10 loads of fuel tru it. supposed to be a SS model. The bottom looks a little rough, I cannot see any orange on the rear frame- think this has been replaced from another car? As far as the engine- I have a new in box f-270 and a gitzmotors top end- crank to install if i whish to do so. This car you see is $510.00 + 55 shipping. Thing is folks- I can buy a new in box 5-b ss with no engine- electronics. Free pipe -shipping from DDM for $664.05. I have a fly-sky transmitter-reciever- just need a throttle servo- kill switch. - What are your thoughts? Thanks for the opinions-- A.E. NUMAN. oh- this car has the 26cc 2 bolt engine.

I personally would buy the new kit. You always know what your getting with a new one. Without a lot of pictures you never now for sure what you are getting on eBay! 2-3 broken or worn out parts would make up he difference pretty quick!

Yea, You 2 are correct. The car in the photo was beat, A hodge-podge of replacement parts- I enlarged all the photos- they were taken from at least 3 times- the dirt on the car was a dead giveaway. With DDM s discount, free shipping, I will pay $99.00 more for a brand new car- I have as stated before- new in box f-270- 35 dollar spare pulloff top end, Gitzmotors full mod 36mm top end-+2mm crank, new 990, Thought about snagging a 2nd crank- order the Nachi 6001 crank bearings, get a 2nd f-270 crank cases- Two new engines!- I have a bunch of 2 bolt stuff- new pull-off top ends-34-35-36 mm -I am a motor head!!! I just need a servo-killer bee. I will absolutely keep the XB. In low traction conditions - no 2wd alive can hold a candle to it. I should build the gitzmo- 30+36mm- have a 7500 spring to install--- The XB should be a kick-ass car with this--Agan, thanks for your logic!! - A.Numan, and the " TAZ " dog named spanky!!

Say Cordy? There is a large group of sun-spots rotating-should be here in 2 weeks-our side of the sun-the last rotation had wild H-F Propagation. upper bands- I am a tech, I stay off the h-f bands- but-- on ocassion, I go to 27.555 usb- point the beam to Europe in the morning- then swing to South America about mid-day- 555 is a "grey area" for Americans- but at other QTH , its a world-wide call channel with lots of quality operators. - google- free banding- lots of operators there- Its ok to listen--

It actually doesn't look too bad. Probably didn't beat on it. As far as the rear portion of the chassis, it has a plastic cover over it to protect it, which is stock.

The China S-W stations boom into my QTH, lo bands. - uncertan about the ham bands. I use a Icom 718, good rig for the money-$500.00. During the gulf conflicts, these rigs were shipped over there by the bakers dozen- All that needs to be done to this rig- split the mike case , remove the tobacco filter that buffers the mike element, replace with a small piece of coarse foam, bolt back together- shes good to go. Someone else bought the buggy, Whoever they are- I wish them the best of luck. I will spring for a new one from DDM. free shipping- he tosses in a pipe too. This way- when something lets go- its my fault! Have a good one- 73,--a.numan.
