Ok, I toyed with the idea of getting a 5b about 2 years ago but opted for a RR evo 3, spent the next year saving up for it and I have to say I don't think it is worth the money, yes, four wheel drive is great, but really that's it! So now I'm thinking I want to re-visit the HPI idea, so do I go for the new 5b v2, or the SS as I was originally thinking, any thoughts?
 
If you can afford the ss then go for that, it'll give you a chance to get to know it too as you'll have to build it yourself.
You'll prob update the v2 as you go anyway.

if you like to build, the SS, if you are impatient, the 2.0. lol
do a good read, and decide what if any upgrades you want to do out of the box.'

but overall its a killer RC
 
Yeah price doesn't really come into it for me, I can't really afford either! so to get another £100 or so together makes no difference :laugh: SS it is then, how much do you reckon I could get for my other half
 
an MDC RR EVO3? i would think you could get atleast 1500.00 USD if its int good/great shape. mabye a bit more?
 
yes. we ll need VERY CLEAR and CURRENT PICs, Excellent Discription of the wife. Also, can you show me the WifeFax sheet on her? Previous Abuse is important to know when buying a new (or new to you ) wife.
