I rebuilt my front shocks today, I put new seals in and filled with 3000wt oil, now the question I have is that I can push the piston all the way in and the piston rebounds all the way out is this ok????? The only reason I'm askin is that mike1970 stated in his post they should rebound half way????? So I'm a little unsure if they're ok, here's a vid.....

I normally set mine to rebound about 3-4mm but I also let them sit and settle the air out of them over night before sealing them up

Sorry fella I run off road so 5000 is a but to thick lol, did you leave them to stand for a while to let the air out??? Maybe that and not your dodgy measurements

hey charlie i didnt but i was quite noob at doing them really, i didnt read into it and just did it, but i am going to take them off again this weekend and have another look, but generally they seem to be going ok all roughly the same however i think one is leaking a bit.

i found when i filled it to much i couldnt compress the shaft right in in, thats when the shock was filled righ tto the top, so i i kept taking a bit out and it worked in the end. sorry i cant be much more help dude.
