If you had just bought your first gas RC what advice would you give yourself?

i started with a king motor buggy roller for under 400 bucks,, was cheaper than a 1/8th scale,, modded into a baja,,, and now 2 bajs built from parts,, a king motor,, redcat xsc,, a lost 5t and a 5b

after buying a clone, keep money on hand because you'll be surprised in one of two ways, 1 it'll either melt like chocolate over time or it'll hold up too well and you'll get bored of waiting for the 'cheap' parts to break and end up replacing them 'just in case' if you're as bad as me

on a slightly more serious note, if you buy a clone,
buy a brand new QUALITY bearing set from the likes of team fast eddy or taylor rc
buy multiple NGK spark plugs of the right type aswell (most likely cmr7h i think) and ditch the copies becaus it'll be the bane of your existence trying to tune it
